Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

1. Who we are, and what this policy covers

OLURT is an overnight low-glucose alert app in development. OLURT is operated by a sole proprietor ("OLURT", "we", "us"). You can reach us at support@olurt.com.

This policy covers the OLURT website, olurt.com, and OLURT's trusted-contact text and automated call notifications. OLURT is currently in development and is not yet available to the public. This policy doesn't describe how the app handles other information.

2. Two separate kinds of permission

We keep marketing email and trusted-contact notifications completely separate. Agreeing to one is never agreement to the other.

3. Information we collect

On this website today

  • Waitlist form: the waitlist form on the homepage is provided by Sender, our email provider. When you sign up, Sender collects and stores the information you enter and adds you to the OLURT waitlist.
  • Sender's form code: to show the form, your browser loads code from Sender's servers when you open the homepage. Sender may receive technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, and handles it under its own privacy policy.
  • Basic server logs: our web host, Hostinger, may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to operate and secure the website.
  • No advertising or analytics: we don't add advertising pixels or analytics trackers to this website. Sender's form code may use cookies or similar technology to make the form work; see Sender's privacy policy.
  • Emails you send us: if you email support@olurt.com, we'll receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it to reply.

When you join the waitlist

  • Your email address, and the signup record Sender keeps, such as when you joined.
  • Your name, if you choose to give it. This is optional.
  • Whether you're interested in beta testing, if you choose to tell us. This is optional. Saying you're interested doesn't reserve a place or mean you'll be invited to test OLURT.
  • Joining the waitlist doesn't sign you up for trusted-contact texts or calls, and your waitlist information isn't shared with Twilio.

For trusted-contact notifications

  • A trusted contact's mobile phone number is needed to send them notifications. We'll describe how the number is collected and stored here before OLURT is available to the public.
  • OLURT is designed to keep a record of each contact's agreement and of any opt-out.

4. How we use information

  • Email addresses: to send, through Sender, the OLURT development and launch updates you asked for.
  • Beta-testing interest: to know who'd like to hear about beta testing.
  • Emails you send us: to reply to you.
  • Trusted-contact phone numbers: only for OLURT trusted-contact notifications and related service messages, such as HELP and STOP replies. Never for marketing.
  • Server logs: to keep the website working and secure.

5. Sharing

We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run OLURT:

  • Website hosting: Hostinger
  • Text and voice delivery: Twilio
  • Waitlist signup and email delivery: Sender (sender.net), which collects and stores waitlist signups and sends our waitlist emails

Mobile information won't be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent won't be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver the messages.

6. How long we keep it

We haven't set retention periods yet, and we'll add them here. Until then, you can unsubscribe at any time, or email support@olurt.com to ask us to delete your waitlist information. Server logs are kept by Hostinger under its own policies.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link in any email.
  • Trusted contacts can reply STOP to any text to stop texts. How to stop automated calls will be described in the SMS terms before OLURT is available to the public.
  • Ask to see, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing support@olurt.com. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under privacy law; you can ask us about them at the same address.

8. Health information

This website doesn't ask for health information. OLURT is currently in development and is not yet available to the public. Before it is, we'll publish privacy information covering the app, including how it handles any glucose information.

9. Children

The waitlist is for adults 18 and over. Parents and caregivers sign up, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from children through this website.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure.

11. Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date at the top.
